September....spring yay! and lots of hard work for me

Wow, what a month September has been.

I feel like I've barely seen my family between trips to Nagambie, Yea and Benalla for training.  All involved overnight stays - one was 4 nights away.

I've loved the training and getting amongst people again - but I've really missed my family.

It will be evident in my photo's ..... because they're mostly about me and what I've been doing rather than about my little girl, who I've missed more than I can say.

But, the month is over and soon we'll be on our way to Cambodia and lots of fun family times again.

Early this month you and I headed to Melbourne to help Pa and Nanna sort their garden out.  Sadly you ended up unwell.  The upside was that you slept in the car!  This n.e.v.e.r. happens these days!

The street my Dad and Mum have moved into in Lilydale is such a beautiful street!...especially in Spring.  Here is a picture of their garden finished and their street.

These next few were taken on my travels around Victoria this month!  First is Myrtleford, second is around Benalla and the third is taken in the room I stayed in at Yea.  It was super special for me!

Here is a little 'reminder' you made for me to stick on my dashboard!

We did driver training in Yea.  We popped in to a coffee shop for 1/2 an hour and while we were there someone tried to reverse back in their car and trailer and took out part of the Ambulance!  Sadly that was the end of our training!

Here is the lovely Claire in action at training!

I l.o.v.e. the canola fields!

Rick and Claire who I did my training with, take in wildlife that have been injured.  Each training session this little one joined us and I was able to feed him!

Finally, this mummy was glad to be home and back to some kind of new normal....and enjoying watching you loving life xx

August...the last month of winter....and my training begins

This month will appear super quiet.  Why?  Well, I've made the decision to become an ACO.  An ACO is an Ambulance Community Officer.  I have quite a bit of training to complete before we leave for Cambodia in October.  Needless to say - photographs have had to take a back seat!

Doesn't mean we didn't get to enjoy some really lovely times together.  July was a huge month so this one needed to be a bit quieter anyway :-)

First up was a walk on the cool weekend morning to have some photo's taken with the early August wattle whose sight is so welcome after a long winter....

Next it was book week dress up day!  You chose 'Billy B Brown'  I thought you looked super cute!

Then it was your 8th Birthday.  I love you sweetheart and can't believe you are 8!  I have absolutely LOVED your year of 7 - you have loved me like a I am the most special person in your life.  I can do little wrong in your eyes.  What a special year it has been!  I know it can't last.
You chose a 'my little pony' party for your birthday!  You said it was your best ever.  It was a LOT of work, but I didn't mind at all :) xxx

A beautiful rainbow for your birthday...

Ever since you were a baby, you have had this sweet sucking motion.  Even now - at 8 years old, you still have it and tonight I was lucky enough to capture it for all time!

Then July arrived.....winter I think????

Wow....what a huge month July was!  First it was a bit of fun at home with some of your furry friends....I love observing you in this sort of fun play!

Then....Uncle Tez arrived....you so love him and I was thrilled to capture this beautiful moment between the two of you......

There was MUCH excitement with the approach of Ruby arriving.  You were sooooo excited you could barely sleep :) and the two of you had lots of fun times together.  You stacked a lot into 2 days!

....mind you, there was the odd hard moment!......

...maybe a couple of sad moments!  They joys of friendships

Next we headed to King Valley for a few days of wonderful freedom and fun at one of our favorite places.....King Valley Cottage.  We walked, we rode, we climbed....we had lots of fresh air fun!

Then we were home again.....we'd already put a lot into the first part of the school holidays

You decided you'd like to start washing the dishes (wonder how long that will last!?)

Got to take some gorgeous photo's around our beautiful valley

You danced with the Wii machine!

Then Aunty Di and Renee arrived....and there were stones to build

another opportunity for a gorgeous photo

Some ten pin bowls with Nazey

Aunty Di and Nazey left so we went, just the 2 of us, over to Bright for a bit of fun

Then, just for the fun of it, you taught me 'apple on a stick' that Renee had taught you!

Time for an eye check!

Some fun with me!

Then school was back and a regular visit from Chelsea meant for some strange fun times!

...and some sleep!

It was also Lily's 4th birthday and you had a blast!

Finally there were a few beautiful moments for mummy to capture!

....that was July 2013!
