I knew it would happen. I knew the time would come. I hadn't been looking forward to it at all - but it's part of growing up and I guess many would say I'm lucky it's been as long as it has.
So - what happened?
WHY? happened that's what.
We're in the Supermarket and Ebony wanted to open the Strawberries (which she doesn't like anyway) and I said she couldn't (she'd already dropped them all out once) and then she innocently asked 'why?'. I was stunned. I've avoided using that word - but doesn't matter does it? I immediately answered that it wasn't about 'why' but it was about listening to what Mummy says. Then would you believe it?!? she cried! Maybe I used a stern voice...I don't know, but just about the whole Supermarket knew something was wrong let me tell you!
she's said it once or twice since and I'm now trying to convince her that it's a word big people use, but not little people (a bit like big people drink wine but little ones don't etc.)
Good luck you say! - me too!

Anna is always asking why when i tell her she cannot do someting. She is also always asking what I'm doing, even when it is obvious. On another note, I love the picture of Ebony in the pool. So cute!
You know that a 3 year old can ask 450 questions a day
4year old 600
LOL I bet half of them are WHY?
From our hearts to yours wishing you a very Merry Christmas....
May the fat man bring all your heart wishes for!!
