October = Cambodia

This month saw us visit our dear friends Paul, Katrina, Elijah, Josiah and Autumn-Grace in Cambodia.  It was also the month we celebrated Graham's 60th.  We have had a wonderful month.  Whilst there, the last two times, I've photographed some of the babies that are born into Katrina's program - Mother's Heart.  It is such a privilege.  Amongst all that, there were lots of fun times to be had though.

A beautiful double rainbow to say 'bye for now' to us

Here is a bit of fun before we even left Albury!

This was taken as we flew over the edge of Australia.

Of course - no trip is complete with out Suixi Bear!  Sitting on the food tray xx

The Concorde Inn - a favourite stop over!

Some much needed sleep in KL

...and, of course, time for a swim before we head to Cambodia....

Welcome to Phnom Penh!....it was incredibly wet and flooded

Here are two little friends reunited!

First, we took 4 days with the Gliddon family and headed to Kep, a seaside town quite a few hours drive from Phnom Penh.

The views are pretty spectacular!

...and so is the pool!

The girls enjoyed the 'kids club'

...and doing some beading....

Jasmine Eco Lodge was a hit with the kids....while the parents took in happy hour!

As is the case in most tropical countries - when it rains - it pours!

then when it's over - it's over....

There are some beautiful plants around

Along with a favourite spot of ours....the Kep Sailing Club.  You'll see why in the following photo's.

On the Gliddon's last day in Kep, the girls had some fun in the kitchen with the owners son.  It was such a treat.

....and yes - we took a few selfies!

The next day (8th Oct) the Gliddon's headed back to Phnom Penh and we had some time on our own at a new hotel.

Then it was the long trip home to Phnom Penh for us! With some VERY interesting sights along the way :)

Here's my girl in action at one of the restaurants we went to with the Attrills

...and here's Church....

...and the ride after Church

Then it was time to celebrate Daddy's 60th birthday!

Just after that, Daddy headed back to Australia and we went for a lovely long, hot bike ride.
