Melbourne, Ballarat, Melbourne, Mt Beauty

Now we're in Ballarat for 3 nights. 

Another few days of jam packed fun!

We visited the plaster fun house where you both had a ball painting plaster and taking your creations home

then we went ten pin bowling.....

then it was the highlight....a visit to Sovereign Hill.  I haven't been there since I was young and it was so much fun!  It was stinking hot....but it didn't matter.

You did so many (free) activities.  It's a great place to go to.

First there was biscuit decorating....

then some fun times walking through the historic buildings....

then it was hat making.....

and some gold panning....

oh! and candle decorating with coloured wax.....

and another dose of pin bowling the old way :)

Mt Beauty to Melbourne

We took a bit of a train adventure to Melbourne and then to Ballarat.  

In Melbourne we spent a day with your 'Suixi' buddy Eliza.  You two picked up where you last left off.  We had lots of fun in under 24 hours.  The weather was gorgeous so we walked, fed ducks, played, went to one of the gorgeous Melbourne gardens (terrible...but I can't remember the name of this one!).

It was a lovely day.  Got there by train and then we were back on a train for the next leg....to Ballarat.

School holiday fun....

We have had such fun school holidays.....we always do though.  I love holidays so much.  Special time with you ~ sleep ins and bike rides.  Walks and friends.

Bendigo FCC event

Today was the last day of the FCC weekend in Bendigo and it was so lovely to be there.  You had a wonderful time with the new friends you made and you played hard and had a blast on the Easter Egg Hunt.  We'll definitely be back next year if it's run again.  Such a great time of connecting and, in some cases, reconnecting.  Thanks Bendigo and thanks FCC Australia!
