Family camping

I wasn't at all sure we were doing the right thing. Gra still had Pneumonia and Eb had a terrible cough - but we desperately needed some family time and we had our beautiful new camper trailer to try out! The overnight forecasts weren't too bad so we bit the bullet and headed to the Buckland Valley just out of Porepunkah/Bright. It was a lovely day. We didn't get set up until about 6.30pm, had dinner and then headed straight to bed - it was FREEZING! Gra woke up terrible and Eb was kinda ok....we almost decided to go home, but as the morning progressed the sun came out and it was beautiful. Gra went to do some fishing and Eb and I went for a walk. We had such a lovely day - exploring, walking, kicking a footy around. It was special and the kinda weekend memories are made of. We had a roaring fire and dinner - then we put Eb to bed and we sat up and ..... believe it or not ....watched a DVD! ...the wonders of camping in 2009! It got a bit cold so we went to bed and finished watching it there. During the night it stated to rain very lightly so in the morning we decided to have breakfast and then pack up. The camper trailer is everything we wanted and the weekend was just what the doctor ordered! I'm so glad we made the decision to go! Now I'll just look forward to the next weekend.
