Images of Cambodia....at last!..(Part 1)

I can't beleive it's taken so long to update - hope it will be worth the wait!. I'll start with photo's from Cambodia and progressively update to today. Life has been nothing short of crazy since we returned but hope it's back to normal for the next 10 days or so and very much hope to do some catching up! (this will sound a bit bizzare because I always date back to when the event happened!).

These photo's are of the first part of our holiday in Phnom Phen with The Gliddon's......

Ebony showing of her stickers which she did whilst Paul and Katrina were in a meeting at the local Cafe....

The pottery making it's way into Phnom Phen to be sold

The three of us at 'Yumi' Cafe where Paul and Katrina took us for my birthday lunch - it was Yumi too! (Japanese food)

One of the building opposite the Post Office in Phnom Phen....

The 'Rocky mobile' as I knicknamed it....

Autumn-Grace during her school class....

Paul and Graham in conversation in the school yard while we waited for the children to finish..

2 Gorgeous happy girls at play in the school grounds

How beautifully the two boys embraced our little girl....

These next 5 photo's are taken at 'Bloom' which is a lovely 'haven' set up to offer employment to help women get out of the 'sex trade'. A lovely Brisbane woman is behind the idea. She teaches the girls the art of cake decorating and she says the rest they have done themselves - such beautiful creations. The Gliddon's took me here for afternoon tea on my birthday! Oh what a lovely day to remember.

One of the many images that make you realise how different Asia is to Australia!

The children at play in the 'yard'..

Breakfast time!

My little girl at the shop where she was measured for some shoes...having fun of course!

Love this photo of Paul and Autumn-Grace at school pick up :)

My sleeping beauty...

Then some fun dancing with Elijah and then Autumn-Grace

Taken from the laneway outside their house looking to the house. Gotta love the high fences!

and outside the gates....

an outing in a Tuk Tuk

typical scene on the roads - a car just decides to pull in front of the Tuk Tuk - and the Tuk Tuk driver doesn't blink an eyelid!

the Orphanage we visited....

Some 'Phnom Phen' transport systems!..

the 'guys' hanging out on the balcony....

two very hot little girls and one boy enjoying a chocolate milkshake....

and having fun in a local shop....the shop owners were so patient and accepting of the children!

(aren't girls just the cutest......)

Some things don't change.....4 children with eyes glued to the TV!

Elijah and Eb in the back of the car having a sweet moment....

Church Phnom Phen style

Ebby enjoying Church activities...

Love this one of Elijah with one of the children at Church

and this darling little man is one of twins that have been adopted by an Aussie single girl over there....he had personality plus!

These were taken at the Restaurant we went to after Church...and where I believe we go sick!....maybe the cats nestled together INSIDE the restaurant will help explain!

making the noodles....outside the restaurant....

the girls helping 'clean up' after noodle making :)

a moment between Mother and son....
